Looks popular among students with plenty of food, drinks and dessert options.
I tried salmon pasta which is the expensive one in their manu..wasn't bad..but not as it should be..in addition it smells fishy.
Maybe I'll give them a try later.
Stanford’s very own cafe which is very popular with its students. Come here if you’re in the area and want a place for a bite to eat and soak in some college atmosphere. They have nice loungey sofas and even a piano! You can also sit on the benches outside and the good thing is they serve in actual cutlery instead of plastic containers.
They have an excellent collection of sandwiches, bagels, pastas, risottos and burgers. They also have coffee and tea and hot chocolate etc. I went during lunch time and wasn’t sure if the meat was halal. So I ordered a vegan chilli with quinoa. It was really delicious and spicy ! It tasted like rajma chawal and the chilli had three different types of beans. The portion size was decent but the price was costly for 9$. The cheapest sandwich was around 8.50. I also had a small cappuccino which cost me around 4.50$ but was not very strong. For the price it should have been more robust.
Service was friendly and quick.
Update: the mushroom burger was not good, but the mushroom sandwich was tasty. Wish they gave fries on the side apart from the salad. The pasta with vegetables was kind of bland. The hot chocolate was that Swiss mix version. The raspberry and custard croissant was delicious.
I loved the atmosphere! Comfortable couches, electric outlets, the piano! Food is alright: the salmon pasta was huge and the salmon yummy, the BLT sandwich had over fried bacon that was hard to chew, the pastry tasted good but was cold and …
We came to this place to have a lunch on a sunday afternoon. The place has cozy sits inside, as well as tables outside. …
The tomato soup and cheese toasts and great. They have a wide variety of salads too. The chicken risotto is my favorite. Great place to hang out with friends, but gets a bit noisy to study/ read.
Nice cozy atmosphere, relatively fast service, good quality food. They have large TVs and WiFi. Can sit inside or outside. Crowd is mostly students. There is live music on most nights. …
Student cafe/deli with sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. I didn’t see any gluten free pastries, but another reviewer had photos of them, so many I got lucky. I was a bit disappointed the gluten free bread had a +2$ charge, but when it came …
Decent salads. Decent pastries. Decent sandwiches. Decent service. Overall decent. One reviewer said there are no vegan or vegetarian options. Non sense. Everything I had was either vegan or vegetarian with a pretty good option to modify …
Coffee, beer, pastries, and live music all in one spot.
Live jazz is on Mondays
